SAFETY GUIDELINES
The Safety Guidelines are intended to provide legal requirements and prudent practices when using Forum’s Charging Services. Electricity can be dangerous. Failure to take proper precautions can result in serious injury, property damage or even death. Safety is a priority – you should never do less than what is required or recommended, and you are always permitted to do more.
DO NOT OPERATE YOUR CELL PHONE WHILE YOU ARE OPERATING A VEHICLE AT OUR LOCATIONS
Cell phones are distracting. Using a cell phone can distract you and result in you damaging the charging equipment or other vehicles.
DO NOT TOUCH EXPOSED WIRES
If you encounter exposed wires at any location, do not touch or attempt to move the wires. Contact emergency services or the other contact information available at the location.
DISCONNECT CHARGER BEFORE MOVING THE VEHICLE
Moving the vehicle while the charger is connected can damage the vehicle and the charger.
SPEED LIMIT IS 5MPH
Observe the 5mph speed limit all times.
Do Not Force Charger Connections
The charger connections will connect without undue force. Requiring excessive force usually indicates the charger connector is not properly aligned with the charging port or it is damaged. Do not use excessive force to connect the chargers.
License and Insurance
You must have a valid driver’s license and insurance before entering our locations to use a charging station.
Be Safe
Do not carry firearms while at our charging stations, other than those that might be lawfully transported within the vehicle. Do not use our charging services after using any substance that might impair your ability to do so such as drugs, alcohol or certain cold medications. Do not use our charging services if environmental conditions make it unsafe to do so.
When another truck is in your vicinity, always make eye contact with other driver(s) before crossing in front, behind, or adjacent to a truck.
