Forum Mobility Pairs Affordable Charging With Low-Cost Truck Lease Options
Forum Mobility has numerous options to facilitate your purchase or lease of electric trucks. We have deep experience navigating the suite of incentive programs available, and great relationships with truck manufacturers and dealers. Reach out to discuss what’s best for your fleet.
Forum Mobility is also working with Climate United to launch a unique new program to help fleets transition to zero-emission trucking by offering American-made class 8 electric trucks at the most competitive lease rates on the market. This program will primarily serve drayage fleets, with an initial rollout for carriers serving the Port of Long Beach and the Port of Los Angeles.
The program helps carriers lower costs through several unique elements. First, Climate United is making a bulk purchase of 500 class 8 American-made electric trucks (all Build America, Buy America compliant) – the largest single order of such trucks in US history. On top of the cost reductions from volume, Climate United stacks low cost of capital and assumption of residual value risk, resulting in incredibly competitive truck lease rates for fleets and independent owner operators.
Forum Mobility is providing an affordable charging solution to pair with each electric truck lease, making the switch to electric not only cost effective, but also seamless for fleet operators.

FAQs
Who can participate?
This program will prioritize small fleet operators of Class 8 drayage trucks. Fleets of all sizes are encouraged to contact Forum Mobility to learn how they can participate. The initial focus will be on operators serving California ports.
When will the program be open?
Interested parties should contact Forum Mobility to learn more about the program and become pre-qualified for access to truck financing and charging once it opens.
How does this differ from other programs?
No other program combines the most affordable truck financing with dedicated charging infrastructure. Climate United, a non-profit, receives $7B in funding from the EPA. It provides low-cost lease financing by taking on residual value risk, monetizing the $40,000 tax credit with a 45W benefit, and passing those savings on to the customer. The program leverages existing vehicle incentive programs to provide a solution competitive with diesel. Forum Mobility’s dedicated charging solution offers operators reliable charging in convenient locations.
