Job Description:
Forum is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-4 years of experience in finance, who is comfortable with financial modeling and has strong communication skills to translate multiple disciplines into actionable financial insights.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models and supporting the finance team in strategic, operational, and reporting tasks.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and eager to contribute to our rapidly growing company. Experience in infrastructure development, investment banking, or private equity is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for various business scenarios, including project development and vehicle leasing.
• Work collaboratively with the Sales and Product teams to analyze and optimize pricing strategies.
• Support corporate finance activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial performance.
• Assist in preparing materials for board meetings and investor presentations, providing clear and insightful analysis.
• Communicate financial findings effectively, both verbally and in written form, to various stakeholders.
• Manage certain investor reporting requirements, including model maintenance and supporting sustainability reporting
Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience in a finance role, with a focus on financial modeling and analysis.
• Proficiency in building and working with complex financial models.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial concepts clearly.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in structured finance, investment banking, or private equity is preferred.
• Located in the Bay Area; team meets in the San Francisco office 3x per week.
Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000
